Jeff + Abigail Pyle’s Wedding
Daren and I have been good friends for many years and when he offered to do our wedding video I didn’t think twice. My wife and I waited in great anticipation and when we watched the video for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised when it exceeded our expectations!
The video was both professional and artistically poignant. Thanks for doing an excellent job capturing the most important day of our lives!”
–Jeff & Abigail Pyle
I’ve known Jeff for awhile now. He was one of the first friends I made when I moved to San Luis Obispo nearly six years ago. He invited me to a Bible Study, where I met Abigail, and even though Jeff and her were only friends at the time, I had a feeling that they wouldn’t remain “just friends” forever.
Last year, when they announced their engagement, I offered to film their celebration as a wedding gift. I had just purchased a camera and had only begun plans to start a video production company. While this may be the newest video I am posting, it is actually the first wedding video I had ever shot for my own company.
quaint & intentional
The dictionary defines the word “quaint” as “having an old-fashioned attractiveness or charm.” And I think that would be a fitting word to use for this wedding. It was simple, understated, old-fashioned and charming. It was a community event, with friends and relatives all pitching in to provide food; music; the ceremony; everything. It was a beautiful labor of love. And as the two are wonderful and committed followers of Christ, the entire day was focused on the love of God through His son as our savior, and how a wedding is a metaphor for the love of Christ. It was a joyful and meaningful event, not focused solely on the bride and the groom.
TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM
I pray you would walk in the way of the Lord; That you, Jeff, would love and lead your wife as Christ loves and leads his people; and that you, Abigail, would follow and support your husband as he follows the way of the Lord. May your lives be filled with the love, peace, and joy that comes through Christ in all circumstances, and may you be a beautiful witness to those around you.
SPECIAL THANKS TO…
All the friends and family that worked so hard to put this wedding celebration together. To list you all would be to write out the very guest-list!
