“Exclusive Asics Tennis Shoes Solstice Pack”

OF PARTICULAR INTEREST:
The concept of this one was that of two tennis players playing independently–one in summer, one in winter, but with the effect of having them appear to be playing each other. To do this, we shot it on our indoor court and had our DP create some excellent mood lighting. We shot each player separately, and then I cut the scenes together to give the impression of a single match. For the overhead shot, our DP filmed each player overhead with a drone, using the court as a green screen. In After Effects, I created a virtual 3D tennis court. Some heavy color correction, grading, and masking later, I dropped the footage of the players onto the  virtual court and animated a tennis ball flying back and forth between them.
